VOICES OF IMPACT

Ideas that shape leaders. Voices that shape Africa.

The journey of the NWU Business School is one of continual evolution – shaping its voice within a complex South African and African context. The school’s core purpose remains to develop leaders who combine capability with ethical awareness and social responsibility. “Voices of Impact” emerges from that conviction and affirms the NWU Business School’s commitment to reflective, values-driven leadership – where knowledge, humanity, and purpose come together to shape a more just and thoughtful society

“It is our way of giving coherence and visibility to the many ways in which the school already contributes to thought leadership, societal debate, and intellectual renewal. It brings together our reflections, conversations, expert insights, and research into a clear and consistent collective voice.”

NWU Business School Chief Director – Prof Joseph Sekhampu

OUR VISION IS CLEAR

Our vision is clear: to shape executive minds in Africa. This vision goes beyond academic excellence. It speaks to a deeper commitment to nurturing leaders who can think with clarity, act with courage, and serve with empathy.

Our mission is to advance knowledge, foster responsible leadership, and promote societal well-being through teaching, research, and engagement that are both excellent and relevant. In essence, Voices of Impact is a living ecosystem for the school’s mission. Through it, we nurture reflection (Dipabi), share insight (Bon Bons), host dialogue (Fireside Chats), convene public debate (Pitso Series), co-create action (Think Tanks), and capture legacy (Reflections for an African Future).
